Our Story
“Omo” means “child” in Yoruba. We made it mean something for every child: Of My Own. Personalised storybooks where your child is unmistakably the hero. Their face. Their hair. Their world. A story of their own.
It started with a bedtime story. A dad looking for a personalised book for his daughter — and realising nothing on the shelf looked like her. Not really. Not in a way that would make her point at the page and say 'that's me.' So he made one.
We started with the stories — the Saturday morning hair ritual, the lunchbox moment at school, the walk to the corner shop with Dad. Real moments from real families. Then we built the tech to put your child right in the middle of them. Every illustration is painted to look like your actual child. Because close enough isn't good enough.
In our stories, there's a place called The World Between — where the everyday world meets the magical one. It's the crack in Grandma's old wardrobe. The shimmer on the surface of the river.
